Not sure how I missed this. This is possibly my favorite song from the new Vandaveer album, Divide and Conquer, which you should buy here ASAP.

Any discussion of the most underappreciated albums of 2009 pretty much needs to start, or stop, or start and stop, with this album. It’s spectacular.

The band is Mark and Rose are currently out on tour - though I suspect it’s just Mark Charles who’s touring - and if you get a chance you should absolutely catch them him. Those of you in Chicago should join me at Schuba’s on the 23rd.
