This Week In Chicago

Here’s my first ever “This Week In Chicago” post. I’m still trying to learn all of the main Chicago-area clubs, so my apologies if I’ve left anything out. Please feel free to drop a comment with any club/show suggestions that I miss.

I’m actually not sure if I’m going to make this a permanent feature or not. Unlike DC, Chicago has its own Oh My Rockness site, so any post I do is going to be pretty much duplicative of the excellent work they already do. That said, I kinda like doing it because it allows me to get a good idea of what’s going on around town, and also lets me recommend the shows that I think are most interesting. So we’ll see.

Looking forward to Oh MY God’s record release @ Double Door on Saturday, 9/26. New album, The Night Undoes the Work of the Day, is fantastic!
