New Golden City CD and Tour!
Golden City, “Cavalry”
I have absolutely no idea how I missed this, but Brooklyn’s Golden City just released their brand-new, self-titled debut 8-song 10″ on April 7th. You can get it at eMusic or directly from Magic Bullet Records.
If you don’t know them, Golden City is the latest band from Eric Richter of the dearly-departed Christie Front Drive, Antarctica and The 101. I caught the band’s first ever show back in 2007, and have been eagerly awaiting an album ever since. Strangely, they’re calling this an “8-song 10 inch” rather than an “album”, but I’ll take it either way.
The band is out on the road this week playing a few shows in support of the new disc. I’m kinda hoping that TBA show on Friday is either in DC or within driving distance. Catch ‘em if you can.
