Added to BabyStew Radio: Alone at 3am, “The Estates”
Sorry for disappearing from the blog for a couple of days. No real excuse. Just been posting most of my thoughts (usually nonsensical) at Twitter.
Anyway, I’ve been meaning to mention Cincinnati’s Alone at 3am for a while now. Despite the fact that I haven’t lived in Cincinnati in 16 years, I still love finding and supporting great hometown bands.
I suppose the easiest way to describe these guys is to say if you like Lucero, The Gaslight Anthem, or music that combines late 90′s emo guitar-driven anthem-icism (a new word) with gruff Americana (another recent touchstone would be the underappreciated Nothington), you’re gonna dig these guys.
