Other Music’s SXSW Day Parties
My friend Matt just pointed this out to me:
Other Music, Babelgum and DigForFire are teaming up to present two great SXSW day parties next week in Austin. The shows will take place on Thursday and Friday afternoons at the French Legation at 802 San Marcos.
If you’ve never been to the French Legation (and I haven’t), I recommend that you try to swing by this year. Everyone I’ve spoken to says that it’s a beautiful spot with lots of trees, and its just far enough off the main strip that it’s a relatively relaxed atmosphere to watch bands. If I remember correctly, I think Matador had a party there last year.
