Crystal Stilts, “Love is a Wave”
Crystal Stilts, one of the excellent young bands leading the current C86-revival, is due to release a brand new 7″ on March 31st via Slumberland Records. The above track is the A-side from the 7″.
Additionally, label-mates The Pains of Being Pure at Heart are also putting out a new 7″ on March 31st as well. I’m not sure why, though, but the A-side is “Young Adult Friction”, which is already on the band’s self-titled debut LP. It’s a great tune, though, so if you haven’t already heard it, check it out here.
Both bands also have tour dates coming up in the DC area. Crystal Stilts will be at DC9 this Sunday night (as will I), and POBPAH will be in Baltimore at the Talking Head on May 5th. The latter recently played a sold-out show at the Black Cat’s backstage.
