So my hunch was right, and that Thursday day party isn’t the one that Brooklyn Vegan is throwing.

They just announced a metal-heavy Wednesday day party alongside Solid PR which will go down at Emos. Here’s the lineup:

5:45pm: The Bronx
5:00pm: Young Widows
4:15pm: Annihilation Time
3:30pm: Trash Talk
2:45pm: Psychedelic Horseshit
2:00pm: Garotas Suecas

Now, I am a tad confused about something. They’re billing this as being “inside Emo’s on the 2nd stage”, and that it will be simultaneous with the Fat Possum party which is listed as going on as “Emo’s Outside”.

I’ve never heard of either of these stage designations. In the past, Emo’s was:

Emo’s (main stage) – the partially indoor/open-air stage which is their biggest.
Emo’s Jr. – the smaller room which opens on Red River and connects to the main stage area through the backyard patio by the bathrooms.
Emo’s IV – the smaller room which opens onto the corner of Red River and 6th Street, and has the sunken stage and audience area.
Emo’s Annex – the temporary tent area they set up across Red River.

Have they added even more stages this year? Is “Emo’s Outside” a new stage in the backyard area with the picnic benches? What is “inside Emo’s on the 2nd stage”?

Color me confused…
