Go See The Antlers in DC TONIGHT
I’m only gonna say this once… if you’re in or around DC tonight, I expect you to be at the Black Cat to see The Antlers.
I’ve raved about these guys for a couple of years now, and it looks like people outside the blogosphere are finally starting to catch on to these guys.
Their new album, Hospice — which you can stream for FREE in the widget in the right-hand column of this page — is absolutely stunning, and is easily one of my favorite albums of the year so far (and that’s saying a lot considering how many good albums have already come out in 2009).
So if you consider yourself a music fan, or want to be able to tell people you knew them “before they got huge”, or even if you’re bored at home because Lost isn’t on this week… GO TO THIS SHOW.
Seriously. Do it.
