New National Video, “So Far Around the Bend”
If you’ve been over to the redesigned Pitchfork site this week, you will have noticed that they are finally starting to give a bunch of attention to Pitchfork TV.
It always kind of seemed like Pitchfork TV was the bastard step-child of the family — they rarely mentioned it, and, in fact, even though it debuted quite a while ago, I’d pretty much forgotten it even existed. With the new redesign, though, they’ve finally integrated Pitchfork TV into the main site itself, and I think it’s one of the really great aspects of the redesign.
Anyway, they’ve been premiering a series of videos from the Dark Was The Night compilation this week, and I wanted to post the video for The National’s “So Far Around The Bend”. It’s part interview and part performance, and it’s very cool. Check it out.
